The industrial journey of the Jindal family is rooted in the vision and enterprise of Late Padma Shri Debi Sahai Jindal.
In 1952, Debi Sahai Jindal and his brothers established a steel works at Nalwa, marking an important chapter in the family's industrial journey around steel manufacturing.
What began as an industrial foundation continued to evolve through generations, creating a legacy built around manufacturing, entrepreneurship, discipline and long-term thinking.
His contribution to Indian industry was recognised by the Government of India with the Padma Shri in 1971.
His legacy represents the belief that strong industrial foundations can create opportunities that extend far beyond one generation.

Every JSTL bar is defined by two things: what it's made of, and how it performs under load. Our chemical composition is tightly controlled—levels of carbon, sulphur, and phosphorus are kept well within BIS IS 1786 limits, ensuring clean, homogenous steel with minimal internal defects. Lower carbon content also means better weldability, so bars can be joined on-site without special pre- or post-heat treatment.
